The real issue with Battlefield 3 isn’t the game itself believe it or not. The great thing about a game is it can be patched, fixed, corrected and enhanced where needed… and whose job is that you wonder? DICE, the game developer and the people who should be running the Battlefield community, not some marketing/publisher powerhouse with nothing but dollar signs and stock projections in mind… why am I talking about this you may ask? It’s because the loyal, dedicated, veterans of this game know and understand that DICE is working their ass off to fix the game, and the issues we demand, but Electronic Arts worried about nothing but money. This community has been neglected since the launch of the game in October. No information on patches until release date, and no communication at all from the studio and developers on issues.

As a longtime battlefield player, community manager, and a person who knows what is going on with this...

So this afternoon, we sent our Bromance Cake to DICE. Here was the response and picture story to go with it. =)

THEY ATE IT ALL...

There is only one reason we started DRMB: To bring Battlefield people together. And on February 15th we’ll be doing that in a big way!


The Details:

DRMB will be getting a facelift, again. We will be moving the site to BFO’s server and platform. This will allow us freedom to grow without worrying about redoing the sites.
The DRMB and Battlefieldo urls, Twitters and Facebooks will stay the same. The same level of community commitment will continue.
What Will Change:

With this video we are looking at over-viewing tactics, about looking at the smaller details that run through each game and the things to be aware of. This was just an unscripted commentary to cover a standard game, looking at Objective momentum and flexibility one of my core principles of how to play through in battlefield.
There will be more videos like this on the way covering various aspects of class game play, general tactics, vehicle control and good and bad rounds. I think its always good to review game play so that you can learn to take that forward into new games, I hope that it will be useful for you as it is for me -- LT

In this video we look at how you as a single player can flank and turn a game around. I also look at just how bases can be generally handled. As with all my videos of course each game is different and you should assess your games as they happen on the ground as to which tactics to use. When BATTLEFIELDO was formed, there was only one true idea and principal that we had in mind… that principal was to be “YOUR SOURCE” for all things Battlefield 3. A tweet by the official Battlefield team has announced they'll be nerfing the USAS Frag rounds in an upcoming update for all platforms.

Most players will agree that this is a much-needed update.

Make sure to vote in the poll to let everyone know how you feel.

A few weeks back, DICE announced they were aware of a problem with the Playstation 3 VOIP in-game system. As promised, a fix is coming on Monday, February 6th. The patch is mandatory, and only requires 20MB of space.

However, there still may be an issue with one particular headset, but can be fixed with a few simple steps:

Some possible good news on the horizon comrades! We've been hearing a lot of talk about the new BF3 DLC that supposedly rumored to be announced next week.

Hi Battlefieldo! I just made a video that shows how beautiful Battlefield 3 is, slowed down.

In the fast paced action of Battlefield 3, all of us miss either the amazing facial expressions when knifing someone, or the beautiful explosions occuring almost all the time.

I hope you guys like it!

Imagine Battlefield 3, being so much more awesome, in night mode. Eerie night lights, never knowing what might be creeping around the corner. THIS mode would make tactical flashlights and IR scopes so much more useful. If its too dark, TURN ON YOUR FLASHLIGHT. Can't see ahead of you, USE YOUR INFRARED SCOPE. And if DICE added night vision goggles, this would make the game, literally, a WHOLE NEW experience. Another feature might be 'time', demonstrated by starting a game of 'Operation Metro' on Rush, after arming the first M-COMS, it might be still daylight, but when you move into the train station, then come back out, it might be already night. These modes would make the game so much more realistic and fun to play, I would love it if any DICE users on this site would read this and consider adding it to the game.
