Your start in the Battlefield Series:
It's crazy to think about it, but I played Battlefield for the first time about 10 years ago when the very first Battlefield 1942 demo came out for PC. I remember watching the trailers of the game thinking that they were somehow exaggerations of what you could do in game. There simply weren't any games that allowed you to fly an airplane, drive a tank and also run around on foot. I mean there was Tribes, but they didn't really have a vehicle physics system -- everything was floating boxes. But BF1942 seemed to have realistic airplane physics and the tank treads actually deformed to the terrain! Wake Island, the very first map released in the demo, was such a blast and I was completely hooked after my first dive bombing run on an enemy tank. After that I bought every single PC iteration of Battlefield including expansions. I finally dabbled in competitive play in BF2 and BF2142, really getting a taste for what well organized teamwork could do for a team and it was like showing off a whole new side to a game that I thought I was already intimately familiar with.
Type of Videos You Produce:
Overall, my channel is about improving your gameplay. I do this by making videos that demonstrate communication and teamwork. I also do a lot of weapon analysis talking about what gun to use in certain situations, and then also getting into minute infantry combat techniques and tips. I also take any opportunityto showcase competitive play on my channel and I hope that BF3 has a bigger presence in the competitive world of gaming in the near future.
Future Games and Videos on Your Channel:
Well, I don't plan on adding any new game lineups to my channel anytime soon, but I will say that Planetside 2 has piqued my interest. I played the first one quite a bit and in many ways it shares a lot of the core gameplay mechanics with the Battlefield series. So depending on how Planetside 2 turns out, I may add that to my lineup. As for future videos, I plan on doing some more instructional videos about helicopter combat and tank combat. I also have plans to do some live commentary over my own gameplay to give fans an idea of how I think and make decisions while in game.
Your Favorite Video You've Ever Made:
This was an early video and the commentary is pretty rough, but the gameplay still cracks me up to this day.
