BF3 Close Quarters & Premium to Release June 4th

    **Update** The official @Battlefield twitter just confirmed the existence of BF3 Premium:

    The EU Playstation Store Blog revealed some pretty shocking news today. The official blog update states that both Battlefield Premium and the most recent Battlefield 3 DLC "Close Quarters" will "Release June 4th". Pricing states that Battlefield Premium will be a "One Time Fee" and cost you £39.99/€49.99/AU$79.95

    We don't know the official price in USD, but if the premium service is £39.99 that converts to around ~60.00USD

    Here is what you can expect from Battlefield Premium:
    20 new maps (across all 5 DLCs)
    20 new weapons (across all 5 DLCs)
    More than 10 new vehicles (across all 5 DLCs)
    More than 4 new game modes (across all 5 DLCs)
    More than 30 new Assignments (across all 5 DLCs)
    More than 20 new Dog Tags (across all 5 DLCs)
    World premier: 6/4/2012 at 1:00 PM (PST) / 9:00 PM (UTC) - @ E3 Press Event
    EARLY ACCESS TO ALL FUTURE DLC CONTENT

    Well us Australians always get ripped off. US is the same though and because the exchange rate is around 1 with the US dollar it doesn't make a difference. It's nice to see it isn't $50 there.

    I'm confused, so if you Purchase the BF3 Premium, and you are Not on PS3. How early are you going to get it? If it's 24hours they can go take a flying **** to themselves :)

    $79.99 US? You sure that is right? That is more than the cost of the DLC if you bought it a la carte. Usually Premium/Season Passes are designed as a one-time fee to save you money, generally 33% of the cost of all the DLC.

    I'm not clear on the details of this - the DLCs are:
    1. Back to Karkand
    2. Close Quarters
    3. Armored Fury
    4. To Be Determined
    5. End Game

    So let's say these are the five. I've read (rumors) that in USD, that premium is $60 or you can purchase separately for $15 each. Since I already have B2K, for me to buy the other four it would also be $60. Then I can choose to only buy the ones I want. Why would I buy premium?

    Or am I missing something?
