BF3 Premium Details -- The Full Scoop

    This year has been a remarkable year in sales for DICE and EA with Battlefield 3. Last week we first announced the possibility that the previously rumored “Battlefield Premium” feature we had all heard about months earlier could be a reality… We then confirmed that this information would be released at this year’s E3 Press Conference and now we’ve recently come across information through a joint partnership in information sharing with www.battlefield-inside.de , www.battlefield-3.cz , mybattlefield.ru and www.BATTLEFIELDO.com , given to us from a source from within DICE (undisclosed). We’ve seen some pricing information, but at this time do not feel it’s appropriate to speculate and cause any more confusion, as that information becomes more available we will let you know.

    Battlefield PREMIUM will be a one time fee and include all DLC Packs

    Stay tuned for more updates on this from us, as well as at this year’s E3 Press Conference starting June 4th.

    Does anyone else have a lot of mixed emotions about this deal? Tread lightly battle fielders, because this premium service sales are going to impact the future of the franchise more so than any map pack or community project.

    Im still of the opinion that they cant include b2k in that since so many of us bought into the limited edition or have since bought it.
    Will I buy it depends on the price.

    Bare in mind that all those 20 weapons, 4 gamemodes, vehicles etc already include the ones from B2K and CQ. So meh, can't say I'm tempted to buy a dozen maps for the price of a full game.

    For a one time fee this is nice. All you people who think they should give it to us for free need to remember that someone has to sit at a desk and actually make it. You don't like to work for free and neither do designers. Overall this is a pretty good deal for a game that most of us play daily.
