There has been a lot of dancing around the subject, but no actual denial when it comes to the "rumored" Battlefield 3 Premium Service.

We can happily confirm that the Battlefield 3 Premium Content Service is no rumor, and is definitely set to launch on June 4th, 2012, along with the double XP for PC players.

When the "rumor" first started circulating, we had a credible source, which turned out to be right. Now we have multiple sources which are all saying the exact same thing.

The date may be subject to change as of now, since this post has gone live, but remember - it's coming, and with the mix reaction of fans, who knows where it'll take the Battlefield franchise.

Here's some the information regarding Battlefield Premium. Thanks to our good friend 32bita:

Now that it's confirmed, what are your thoughts?

One time fee is not as bad as I first thought
    ...depending on the price.
  2. Sliding Bandit
depends on the price since I may wish to get into pc BF3 later and something like that would be nice.

I wonder how much the price will be? Either way, i'm down. Totally ready for some new DLC :)

I'm going with the same philosophy, and depending on the extra content.

So DICE is trying to tell you guys what to post now? Lol! DICE doesn't own BFO so they can go MYOB for all I care.

So it's basically a "season pass". That's fine, but I think everybody that already owns B2K should get a discount.

I'm fine with it as long as it doesn't give the people who have bought the premium service an advantage on the battlefield, i.e. better weapons. They can have the early access to the new maps, it makes no difference to me. I just hope that the early access is only a week or two at most. If this is the case, then who cares. If people want to pay the extra money for the premium service then more power to them.

this is awesome, if they do in fact include all the future DLC in the price, i'd pay for it, and i couldn't imagine the price to be unreasonable, somewhere around the price of a year of CoD's silly Elite, perhaps even cheaper

I think it's cool and I'm definately buying it. Not so much for items and camos, as for early access to DLCs'. I think that people who are Premium are the people that they were talking about when users will test the new patches and DLCs' before they get public.

I would honestly become a 'premium' member if DICE finished and fixed their game.

The cost is key here but I'm always happy to hear news about Battlefield!!

This is good for the community (if the price is right) and here's why - in CoD they offered the maps as individual map packs. Not everyone bought them so the players became divided - the servers ran the maps that most everyone could run. This way, a significant number of players will buy a one time package and minimize the community split.

Pricing and eventual advantages is what I want to know,

I am interested in service, from what is described , wanting to hear more details & price. I would like them to do fix Exploits faster though. M26 Dart usage is getting out of control. I understand fixing bugs is tricky, duplicating the same problems and all. I am PS3 player, I do fell we get the shaft for support over Xbox 360 & PC.

Go for it i am all game for this stuff. So long as it not too steep and we get more content announcements asap with this "Subbing" of BF3 "Pro" and PC gets the Good stuff and not get kicked to the curb for 360/PS3. I wanna hold on to this game but need sufficient solid intel before i would commit.

Fuuuuuu... and to think I have the game for both Xbox and PC, now my wallet will take a small hit when they announce the Premium price...
