This looks like Battlefield 2142... but not as good.

I can't wait to see how un-balanced the multiplayer is. Gonna be horrible. However, zombies seems fun, as they always have been for the most part.

And yeah, this looks like a poorly-done rip-off of 2142.

Never liked BLOPS. Mainly because TreyArch never liked it's users (specially the sniping community). Just their money.

Actually Treyarch supports the community more than IW. Look at MW2 - completely broken and no attempt to be fixed. MW3 - completely broken with some poor attempts at fixing it.

The sniping community, although appears to be huge is only a fraction of the rest of the community. People complain that guns are overpowered (Famas, AK74u, etc.) yet they think it's perfectly fine to be able to run around with a 45lb sniper rifle quick scoping.

We're not "running around", we're being aggressive. Do you think it'll be better if we just sat somewhere in a strategic point and picked people off? No, 'cause then we'll camping. I'm pretty sure no one would like that, but that's exactly what TA wanted us to do/ become.

totally agree! check this out (for fun): http://battlefieldo.com/threads/face-off-cod-black-ops-2-vs-battlefield-2143.5585/#post-58172

CoD: Black Ops 2... I have a feeling we've all seen those movies where the underdogs with no technology save the day by exploiting a single flaw overlooked by these all-powerful, all-knowing enemies.

.....I dunno about you, but I swear this isn't the only time I've seen it before

Then again.. the always redeeming quality of CoD: Zombies Like 'em or not, Treyarch always delivers ZOMBIES. I can only imagine how many more ways there are to kill zombies in the future. Perhaps on the topic of rogue future-machines there will be some sort of Skynet vs. zombies vs. mankind apocalyptic three-way. The possibilities are truly endless. Hell, with that kind of action, aliens may want to get in on it too! Who knows?

I'm actually glad to see CoD going in a different direction. The single player is the main reason I'll be buying this game. It's supposed to have a branching storyline that reacts to the decisions you make. This will be completely new to CoD and I reckon it'll be worth checking out.

I've always preferred 3arch's games too anyway.

Blops was the last CoD game I bought and most likely will ever buy. They series got way to stale for me and I found after 2-3 prestiges into it I was turning off the game with no sense of accomplishment or satisfaction. Thankfully BC2: Vietnam came to the rescue.

Quickscoping ala MW2 and MW3 is absurdly stupid. People complain about the maps being too small to work in Black Ops, but that's not even true. The maps in that game were about the same size as CoD4's maps, and plenty of people were running around with their precious M40s. Without any fancy scope in speed. Heck, you can still run around in MW3 without Quickdraw or whatever it is. What Treyarch did was try a different approach to fix what is an issue.

It was far too reactionary, but once they removed the random bullet BS it's fine. It had to be reactionary and over the top though, as the community is and largely as far as I can tell still out of control. I remember the last time I played MW2 SnD - two guys each in a ghillie suit spinning and jumping trying to noscope people with their Intervention. Yea, that makes for great gameplay.

Look up Wasted on Youtube. Should be a video from Rechyyy. Tell me that isn't broken.

And I love running around with a bolt gun. There is a reason why I love WaW as much as I do, largely because exploding someone's face with a Mosin is epic. WaW is a sniping paradise. Yes Black Ops was terrible for the rifles, but TBH, good thing. Never did see ONE 360 asswipe in Black Ops. Saw them plenty in MW2. I'll call that a win.

The maps in Blops was never an issue for me. Not being able to snipe in a straight line was. The problem with the 360 retards is a console thing I never saw on PC. Thankfully you can't (or it's very hard to) do that on PC in MW2 or MW3.
