I'm literally rank 1 on PC, haven't even unlocked the FAMAS and i'm dealing with the loss of stats.

You need XP for unlocks and assignments. Those are lost stats as well.

the more I think about it..this bug is awesome for those hard core colonels out there! Say it with me...Replayibility!!! Seriously though..it needs to be fixed lol! Question: does this bug affect individual weapon/assignment stats or is strictly XP stats? I'd hate the thought of not being able to unlock those new weapons from CQ (if they're implemented the same way the B2K weapons were) if this bug isn't fixed in time for the DLC!!

True, but i think weapon unlocks are more important than attatchments

The last time I used the Famas was because the achievement Gunslinger where for some reason I had to use that gun, kill 10 people (in game) and unlock the achievement.

This wont stop I mean I see any old noob or inexperienced player using it and they only seem to go along with the assault class.
Looks like I wont be playing battlefield for awhile, maybe i'll come back when Armored Warfare comes out.

wow.....completely insane! I never played WoW, but that's pretty scary. Could an actual computer virus be delivered this way?!?!?! I'm sure it's been attempted, but that could be potentially disastrous if it were successful!

It only seems to have occured since the last server side update, before that there were no issues.

I can acknowledge this problem now. Early on I got 21 star for L85, twice, and now it shows in stats again 2099 kills. Also got 8 star for AEK, and now it's back to 788 kills.

I didn't have this problem until today. I know because I follow my gun stats.

If this problem started recently, then it should be able to be fixed with a server side patch. We should not have to wait till June 4th for the next client side patch to fix this.

You do not need to use the FAMAS. The FAMAS just needs to be used by any player in the server that you are playing in. Stats will not record for all players in that server for that game.

So because someone wants to use the FAMAS, we are going to lose stats in the game? Keep in mind, not everyone keeps track of Battlelog or any type of forum, so randoms that show up using the FAMAS could hinder ranking up/service stars/etc? That is weird bug and I don't think I will be playing until the patch comes out.

Now. The problem showed up server side, I hear, with the Double XP weekend. This means that DICE/EA could fix it with a server side patch. Meaning that we could see a fix before the patch. As soon as they find the bug, it will be fixed.
