I heard this site mentioned in a LevelCap video and decided to come and check it out. I'm a 19 year old Computer Science student and gamer. I started with the Battlefield series when Bad Company 2 was released. I play primarily on my Xbox 360 (gamertag is etorano) as my computer's too poor to run any games released in the past 4 years or so. Since getting BF3 a few months back I've logged around 70 hours of play time. I only ever play at the weekends so I reckon I'm doing pretty well stats wise so far. Anyway, I hope to stick around this place as I'm a massive BF3 fan and there seems to be a fairly cool community here.
Good to have you here! I play on Xbox and if you ever need a buddy feel free to add me. My GT and my username are the same.
Welcome you won't regret posting here unlike another unnamed forum *cough battlelog cough* Feel free to add me too GT in my sig. Sent from my secret WMD stash in Iraq.
Thanks guys. I'll likely be adding you all as I'm always on the lookout for people who play properly and actually work as a team rather than just sniping.
I mean sitting back miles away from the objective getting about 5 kills in an entire game and doing absolutely nothing to help your team at all - hence resulting in a loss
Exactly. Don't get me wrong I'll whip it out occasionally. Usually when we are clearly going to win. Think maybe I have 150 to 200 kills with bolt actions. Compared to nearly 1900 with just the M16. Sent from my secret WMD stash in Iraq.
I have very few kills with sniper rifles. I'm really not very good at using them anyway (I used to use them often in BFBC2 but the bullet dropping in BF3 seems less realistic to me for some reason) and the kit available to them as a class really isn't as useful (again, I preferred BFBC2 as you could use C4 with the sniper class).
Yeah I miss sniping on BFBC2 even though it was so easy. Spot, aim at the bottom of the triangle and fire Sent from my secret WMD stash in Iraq.
You missed the part where you throw a few motion sensors about so nobody can ever sneak up on you - making it possible to survive the whole game with 0 deaths and loads of easy kills.
Lol I used to pack the N2000 and spam them when entering/defending buildings it was like easy mode. Sent from my secret WMD stash in Iraq.
I'd forgotten all about the NS. Such an easy gun to spam. It was so underused considering how superior it was too.
