    We dont have Star Wars thread, so i go a head and make one.

    I am a huge fan of the star wars universe, hard to tell aye? ;)

    Finally a mmo that looks good in the Star Wars universe and its 3000 years before the first movie.

    I've been playing the beta a little, and while I am careful to base to much of my decisions on betas, I am not totally sure about the game.

    The voiceacting and cutscenes are SPLENDID! The gameplay however, seems a bit clunky. Not sure how to quite describe it, its fun and all but. It feels a bit stiff/upstuck. And the instancing is well handled in my opinion. I have bought the game, I am just more jazzed up about GW2 >.>

    Yeah heard mix of both on different sites abute the game, the thing on my part is tired of fantasy mmo. Gw looks cool I can agree on that but its the fantasy once more i NEED syfi <3

    Thats a very valid point.

    Fantasy has kinda been done to much, which is why I actually bought Star Wars. I want it to be awesome, I just dont think it can live up to the hype for my own part atleast :)

    battlefront 3 vas nerly done but the studio gott shutdown.... you had earth to space battles. whas so hiped for it.

    I was invited to beta test this weekend so I can give you my full impressions later.
    I heard the "weekend" beta testers will be on a newer release than the full time testers so it would be interesting to compare experiences with TheScorp.

    Not just me who thinks it then, thank god.. Everyone I know thinks this game is awesome, yet when I played it, and If you actually THINK about it, for the amount of money they have, the game sucks, like you said it feels stiff etc and it just feels really bad. Its a shame they cant make the gameplay like the cut scenes.. Also I know I 'm basing this on a beta, but games dont change insanely from beta to retail.

    Just played quite a few hours on this. So far the game has surpassed my expectations, so many cool features. My favourite thing at the moment is once you get a companion droid, you can actually send it on missions while you quest. I got him to go buy slaves from the black market while I did my Jedi Duties (of course leaning towards the Dark side ). The cinematic component that allows you to make a choice with NPC's is one of the coolest things in MMO history.

    Excited to see higher level + PVE + PVP Content

    I played limited time last night a bit this morning.
    I played a Bounty Hunter to 5 and a Jedi Knight to 9.
    The first thing that sticks out is the dialogue. I LOVE IT.
    The voice acting is great and the cut scenes really draw you in. I am so used to quest givers just handing you a 3 page essay and then having to hit accept or decline. It's such a nice change to listen to the npc talk and get you involved with the story. It definitely draws you in and makes you more aware of what is actually taking place in the world and how you're affecting.

    I have more criticisms Ill save till the end of beta though.

    < iz sad not beta access anymore :( was so fun to play <3 my lvl 18 bountyhunter :( basicly it plays like a SP RPG with MP components, and yeah you can get companion you can send him to "mission" like getting resources , gifts(for him) etc
    got 2 epixxx ! :p a upgrade item and resource for weapons or so
    i got my 2nd companion and my ship in beta (omg that class quests line is so awesome) and got to a new planet

    Yeah i cant wait for GW2 i think its gonna be amazing, but this game is kinda growing on me. Thats one thing ive been worried about the combat looks a little weird. But im so used to WoW being the standard lol.

    the big problem GW aion and co: they are made by NCsoft - so it will be a asia grinder where looks > gameplay / RPG :/
