    So many things...

    1. In game VOIP for PC is by far my biggest issue and shortcoming for BF3 but I'm sure this issue is a "No Comment" topic. Basically it hinders in teamwork and proliferation of a community. I've made many friends and helped many noobs in BF2, even players that dont have a mic can hear whats going on and work together. Playing with friends is difficult becasue some are on Vent others are on TS... Not to mention this has been an industry standard on any shooter for over 10 years. Other devs have evolved VOIP even further with proximity chat where you can hear anyone standing next to you(teammate or enemy)

    2. Classic Server Setting: How hard would it be to add a server setting aside from Normal and hardcore called "Classic" which uses more classic Battlefield settings? Currently if any server settings are changed the server will no longer shows up in browser and therefore doesn't populate. A lot of servers and communities run off donations and if you cant recruit or make a foundation for community it's hard to maintain.

    3. The Suppression effect: trying to play with a blurry screen and severe reduction in accuracy is ridiculous. I understand the concept but in no way is it fun or even add to the game. It makes it worse. A viable alternative would be to reduce the duration of the effect so there is no residual OR have only the edges of the screen blur removing deviation completely, please consider making this change in a future patch. simply making suppression more effective is not a viable way for you to increase the illusion of teamwork. look at what you created:

    4. After the last patch Tanks seem to be at a disadvantage. The splash damage radius on infantry seems very low, as well as MG/COAX takes way to many hits to kill, something like 5+. Is it using 22LR ammo? Tanks should be feared by infantry.

*There is a serious sound bug that has not been acknowledged. Certain layers of sounds like a tank nearby or enemy fire either dont exist or cut out for periods of time while you can still hear distant ambient sounds or your own gunfire. very frustrating.

Why is Demize99 attacking veteran communities?

-What lead them to design the maps this way? Was 16,32,64 system that lead to massive maps broken or wrong? Does he really think changing flag places really make the map bigger?

-The noobifications and artificial help ruin normal mode, and TTK is too low in hardcore, with some details missing. Why they didnt implement a classic mode from start? Should there always be someone to tell these things?

-Why is the UI broken for PC?

-Why was teamplay left behind? We had some faith, but this is nearly bad as BC2

-Does telemtery tell them how many orders given-day?

-Who is the map designer? Did he really think metro was cool? Couldnt he just look at some CQC maps like Cerbere landing and learn something from that?

-From one look, except Gustav Halling more than half of the developers(DICE platoon) are playing TDM. Do they know this game is for conquest in the first place? Does this situation lead to important lacks in conquest and teamplay?

What plans do dice have regarding the "aggressive DLC" program promised for pc servers over 16 players ?

At the moment there is nothing in the "close combat" dlc for anyone running 32,40,48 and 64 player pc servers (the vast majority of pc servers) and many pc gamers feel very let down having to wait for any dlc till the end of the year, hardly the "aggressive DLC" program we were promised.

What is being done to cater for 32,40,48 and 64 player pc servers and more importantly when ?

The pc community and the people paying to rent 32,40,48 and 64 player servers feel currently very let down frankly.

Will the PC close qaurters maps be designed for 16 players or will 32 players work well with those maps?

Will the patch fix the issue of switching you back and forth between the starting weapon when you switch between RU and US.

Does dice plan on giving the competitive gaming community tools to further broadcast and commentate on matches. EX: saving replays as game files with battlerecorder so that commentators can replay them from different perspectives to analyse strategy.

Does dice realize the potential to grow the battlefield community by supporting the competitive community. Look at starcraft for example, thousands of people watch competitive matches who then later decide to purchase the game. If properly supported I think BF could become a leader in competitive FPS. What are dice's thoughts on this?

Why would you ask him patch details on the 1st when the patch is out on the 27th?
  7. ReddDragons
Why he chose to patch things the way they did. What they felt didn't need patching and why. Things like that. Also we didn't know the patch was going out on the 27th until an hour ago
  8. Cryphisss
Damn it, all of you took my questions! :) But I will wait for the podcast, would be really interesting!

    1.
    commo rose
    whats happening with it ?

    2.
are there any plans for a "commander" to make a welcome return to the battlefield ?
many people want it back, again possibly as a server side only setting even. ?
This would make casual gamers and veterans alike very happy as they could choose if they want to play a commander enabled server

    3.
Is there a possiblity of having a SERVER side setting at least for squad sizes, say 4 or 6 man, the vast majority of PC players want 6 man squads, could it be done as a server side setting to try it out ?
This would make a lot of bf3 gamers happy and give them choice

    4.
Squad numbers, currently people get locked of of squads by pple locking two or three man squads, could we have a "create squad" button please and no limit on squad numbers to avoid people getting left out of squads altogether?

    5.
could you create a "clear all binds" button in control options, this would help a lot of players configuring and it was in bf2 and very good

    6.
Squad death match mode, though very good, is still broken and won't work on servers OVER 16 players
When will this be fixed ? It's a great mode made useless by not actually working on the bigger size servers

    7.
The waypoints system for squad leaders
It was really good and gave the squad precise direction, we miss it on the battlefield
    Could this be reintroduced ?

-What happened to the destructible lamp posts ?(Not in the patch notes)
    1. The community has often asked for map scaling to return, so that maps can be enjoyed by different kinds of people. Why have the development team chosen to stick with strict map layouts?
    2. Speaking of which, did it ever occur to the team that map scaling could be used to make CQ and AK one expansion? If so, why did they decide against it?
    3. Are you planning on changing the calibre-based damage system? Currently it seems to make weapons inbalanced.
    4. Why did the team decide automatic spotting was necessary? It is difficult to recall anyone reporting problems with seeing enemies during the Alpha or Beta.
    5. Relating to the previous question, why were so many controversial features, such as audio spotting, not tested with the community in the Alpha and Beta? This has caused many to beleive you are biased towards one type of gameplay.
    6. How far do you believe the development team shapes Battlefield 3 based on what they personally think is fun? Gustav appears to do this. As for testers, how wide was the range of different playerbases? Or did you only use one as the community has speculated.
    7. Linking to this, many console players want the 5 flag version of Wake Island, and PC players have tested this to show it is indeed fun. Are we going to get it or do we just have to play the game based on Gustav's preferences?
    8. Many believe disabling should be adjusted to be more dynamic, how are you taking that feedback on board?
    9. The OHK Sniper Rifles is a very controversial issue, youtube videos have shown that this is not necessary due to the head providing this already. Are you not afraid that players will overuse this? Causing both anger from normal players and abuse to Quick scopers?
    10. Many believe you are balancing weapons based on smaller maps, how far is this the case?
    11. Is there a specific reason as to why the L85A2 has no underslung rail?

    K some more;

-What is positive about the commo-rose layout? What makes the layout more useful than previous ones?
-Is the voip issue concluded? Will we ever see voip?
-Will they keep making cosolised UI's in their next games?
-Is blue that important in the minimap? Wouldnt colors make it work properly?
-There is a spotted button on the middle of commorose, does this mean it is the end of Q spam?
-What exatly changed their teamplay mindset after 2142?
-The teamplay suffers greatly in BF3, especially Squad leaders are unable to command their squads and group them, will this be fixed in the next games/updates?

    Please, you MUST ask this,

-Is Conquest: Double Assault Lines mode forgotten? It worked Perfectly in Highway Tampa
  13. BadgerCompany
What prompted the changes from Alpha to Beta? There were some glitches in Alpha, but the overall game in that stage was fantastic. I think many of us would agree that it was the best version of Battlefield 3, with better destruction/deformation and no color grading to desaturate the lush environment that was the Metro. And not to mention the sights and scopes; the open sights had a nice glassy look and the scopes wouldn't close off your peripheral vision.
  14. BadgerCompany
Also, what's the status of our Battlerecorder? When can we expect it?
  15. BadgerCompany
    One more...

What's this business with End Game? May we have a hint?

-Is a classic mode being discussed? Hardcore has too low TTK,audio spotting, and lack some important aspects of battlefield. However, normal has the features many of the the communities doesnt look forward to, like 3d spotting. Custom servers are never populated ,since battlelog is not very user friendly in that way. Especially PC community needs a classic mode with core battlefield and TEAMPLAY aspects, like useful squad leader, commander, improved UI, reworked disabling, no audio and 3d spotting, higher TTK, Squad leader spawn, squad voIP, "T" commo-rose and such...
  17. Airshark79
    Ok. One last question.

Any free maps before fall? I would love to see a large map to refresh battlefield 3. Armored KillIs too far away right now. Cant you at least remake a map like Highway Tampa? To be honest remaking Highway Tampa is definitely not a hard work. A plain field with some warehouses, building, some height differences and done!
